Two branches. Two titles. One vote that came from you.

Mosaic Restaurant closed the What’s On Abu Dhabi Awards 2026 with two wins in a single evening — a result that puts both of our Abu Dhabi addresses on the capital’s official list of favourites.

Al Najda was named Favourite Business Lunch. Al Muroor was named Favourite Casual Middle Eastern Restaurant.

Published by Motivate Media Group, the What’s On Abu Dhabi Awards run across 37 categories covering restaurants, bars, hotels, spas, attractions and live entertainment. Crucially, every category is decided by public vote — there is no panel, no jury, and no shortlist compiled behind closed doors. The winners are simply the places that the capital’s residents and visitors chose to put their names behind.

That distinction matters to us more than the trophies do.

Favourite Business Lunch — Mosaic Al Najda

A business lunch has to work under pressure. The table has to be ready, the service has to read the room, the food has to arrive at the pace of the conversation rather than the pace of the kitchen — and the whole thing has to land inside an hour without ever feeling rushed.

Al Najda has spent years being the room where Abu Dhabi gets things done over a plate of good food. Winning this category means the people who actually book those tables — week in, week out — decided it was the best in the city.

Mosaic Al Najda finished ahead of two strong names in the same category, with Novikov Abu Dhabi and Valgerand Nordic Grill both highly commended.

Favourite Casual Middle Eastern Restaurant — Mosaic Al Muroor

Middle Eastern cooking is the most competitive category any Abu Dhabi restaurant can enter, for the obvious reason: everybody here has an opinion, and most of them are inherited. Mezze is judged against a grandmother’s version. Grills are judged against a childhood memory.

Al Muroor won that category. Not fine dining, not a hotel dining room with a view to lean on — the everyday, come-as-you-are, bring-the-family version. That is a harder win, and a better one.

Jawaher and Kamoon at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana were highly commended in the same category.

Thank you

Public-vote awards are, in the end, a very direct piece of feedback. Every vote was somebody who ate with us, remembered it, and took the time to go online and say so. We do not take that lightly.

To everyone who voted for Mosaic: thank you. To our teams at Al Najda and Al Muroor, who earned this across thousands of covers rather than on one showcase night: this is yours.

Both restaurants are open and taking bookings.
